About Signal Not Noise emails

I want to let you know about the types of emails you get from SNN Club, particularly the messages with details about online and in-person events you have signed up to.

We don't share your email address with anyone else except with your permission, and we keep the number of emails we send to a minimum. Here's exactly what you'll get from us, and how to control it.

Email categories

Our events platform, Kajabi, (as of August 2026) splits emails into five fixed categories you can manage yourself. Click "Manage your email preferences" at the bottom of any email from us (or find it in your account settings) to see all five and turn any of them on or off individually:

• General Marketing: session announcements, programme updates, ticket sales, and reminders about upcoming SNN conferences e.g submission and registration information and reminders
• Event Information: confirmations and reminders for an event you've already registered for. This is separate from General Marketing, so turning off marketing emails won't affect access to details about events you've booked into.
• Product Information: updates about things you already have access to, such as SNN Club Free Member or Full Member library content (more on this below).
• Responsive Marketing: follow-up emails triggered by something you've done, like registering interest in a session or downloading something from us.
• Notifications: reminders and check-ins, such as a nudge that a session you're registered for is coming up.

You're in control of each category separately, so there's no need to email us to unsubscribe from just one. If you'd rather not use the preference centre, you can still email letstalk@signal-not-noise.com and we'll update your preferences manually.

SNN Club Library content (Product Information) updates

We let Club members know when we've added something new to the library. Kajabi treats these as Product Information notifications for existing "customers", rather than marketing. This is why they don't carry an unsubscribe link, which is in line with Australian spam law for existing customers. You can manage this through the same preference centre, under Product Information. If you don't want to log in, please reply directly to one of these emails and we will help.

Calendar invites

All members (Free and Full) receive a calendar invite a few days before an online SNN Club session. This is in response to members asking for a way to get SNN sessions into their calendars.

These go out manually, not through Kajabi, so they sit outside the preference centre. You can decline an individual invite, or email letstalk@signal-not-noise.com to be taken off the calendar invite list altogether.
